The WMF Boston cutlery set provides polished silver tableware for six people. It includes six table forks, six table knives, six table spoons, six cake forks and six tea/coffee spoons. That means five types per person; the main image shows one representative place setting, not the entire contents. The 60-piece version and other Amazon style options are not covered.
Boston uses smooth, simply shaped handles and polished surfaces. WMF describes Cromargan stainless steel as 18/10 or equivalent according to DIN EN 10088. The monobloc knives instead are forged from a single piece of blade steel and then hardened, with a specially designed serrated edge. We therefore do not describe every piece as 18/10. This is not a Cromargan protect set and carries no scratch-free or permanent-sharpness promise here.
The manufacturer confirms all pieces are dishwasher-safe. General WMF care guidance recommends promptly removing food remnants, avoiding soaking or leaving cutlery damp, and removing it soon after the wash cycle, drying when needed. Contact with harder materials can leave marks.
