The Gritin G1358 are two silver under-cabinet lights (26 cm) with a built-in battery. They work without a fixed cable, using a button and a motion sensor. They are meant for cupboards and dry indoor areas. According to the available information, there is no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Matter or app control.

How the modes work
The lights have four modes: off, constant light, Night Sense and Day Sense. In Night Sense, the motion sensor reacts only in the dark. Day Sense does not mean "daytime only": in this mode the sensor triggers regardless of ambient light. The name can be misleading.
Where they work well
- as extra light under wall cabinets in a dry kitchen
- in cupboards and on shelves without running cables
- as a guide light in a dry hallway or stairwell using the motion mode
Wet areas, splashing water and outdoor use are not intended. No IP rating is stated.
Mounting and limits
The lights hold by magnet on suitable metal. On other clean, dry surfaces the adhesive metal plates help. Adhesive residue can remain when you remove them. Detection and runtime depend on mounting, brightness and use. The advertised runtimes are not our own measurements.
What is not confirmed
The manufacturer's graphic gives the brightness as 180 lm, which is unchecked. The German seller's warranty terms are not documented either; the manufacturer advertises up to 60 months after registration. We have not tested the lights.
Our conclusion
For extra light in a cupboard or under a wall cabinet without drilling and without cables, the G1358 is an uncomplicated solution. If you want smart-home control or have damp rooms in mind, you need a different product.
