Frequently asked questions

What does peak current mean?
Peak current is the maximum current available for a short time. On its own, it does not tell you whether a device is sufficient for your engine. The manufacturer’s specifications for engine displacement and fuel are what matter.
Is a 12-volt device sufficient for my vehicle?
Only if your vehicle’s electrical system is 12 volts. A 12-volt device is not suitable for 24-volt systems, such as those used in many trucks.
Do I need to charge the device regularly?
The charge level should be checked from time to time so that the device is ready to use in an emergency. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
